What is Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)?
NLP is an art and science that focuses on gaining rapport with our unconscious mind. NLP includes tools and techniques and teaches us how to model other excellent behaviors that lead to consistent results. When NLP was founded the question was asked how do some people get results and others don’t? Results are achieved by using Neuro which is the physical, mental and emotional components of our neurology. Linguistic or using language to effectively communicate with others and ourselves. Programming which is the way past events, behaviors and habits affect us.

NLP vs. Life Coaching is there a difference?
The NLP coaching sessions we offer help you have more success. Life coaching often focuses on the obstacles and barriers that clients have. Life coaching then guides, empowers and helps implement a plan you both agree on. NLP takes this a bit further through automatically discovering the root causes of these obstacles and barriers. Once this is found results and transformation happens easily.
How many NLP coaching sessions are needed?
The NLP sessions we offer are for individuals except when we are working with a couple or in a corporate setting. They can be done in person or online through Zoom. With NLP results can happen quickly and we like to work through a coaching cycle of 2-3 months. We also offer breakthrough sessions which can be done in one full day or a weekend if you want results instantaneously. The purpose is to get from where you are to where you want to be. This can take different amounts of time, energy and money depending on each client. We fit your goals into your new reality. The sessions are custom tailored for your success.
What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is an everyday phenomenon if you believe it or not. Hypnosis is a trance state whether this is a deep state of light trance or a light state of deep trance that is characterized by suggestibility, heightened awareness, relaxation, creativity, imagination and learning. Hypnosis is an alternative treatment method and has been recognized by the American Medical Association (AMA) since 1958. What does Hypnosis feel like?
Many think hypnosis is sleep because they may have seen this in a movie or on tv but the client or the person being hypnotized is conscious. This can be compared to everyday trance experiences like driving, reading or watching a movie. You are so focused and your awareness is so tuned in that you may tune out the other stimuli around you.
For example there is probably many instances where you were driving and you were so focused on the drive and not focusing on anything else that was going on that it seems like the last five or ten minutes passed by and you did not have a vivid description of what happened. This is because your unconscious mind has created a habit to guide you along the drive. This is why hypnosis is a really powerful state for learning and changing your life in positive ways. During hypnosis people feel calm and relaxed.
Presumably, this is because they tune out the anxieties, worries, doubts, stress and tension that normally keep them from getting what they want. You might experience the same feeling while watching a movie. Your worries about anything else take a back seat and the sensory aspects of the movie have you so aware that you are unconsciously so relaxed and at ease enjoying every twist and turn of the movie. During a movie you would suspend any belief that what is happening in the movie is reality or not. The characters can seemingly do anything and it is believable to you. You’ve chosen to focus on the excitement of the plot and you are so interested in how it is going to end.
Hypnosis is similar because of the relaxed state you are in. During hypnosis you are more open to positive suggestions that will help you. Hypnosis helps you gain a new belief in yourself and shows you how important your unconscious mind is.
